The Power of Meditation Practice

The Power of Meditation Practice

Urban Day Retreat

Location: The Augustine Hall, 2 Minona Street, Hawthorn

Date: Saturday 18 July 2026

Meditation practice is both an unfolding, and also a clear seeing of what might need to be cultivated – to be honed in on.

On this day retreat we will clarify key entry points to deepen your practice. Different ways of seeing and being that can free you up.

There’s so many pathways and practices on offer, it can be confusing at times. You’ll be supported to feel your own connection to what you uniquely need to cultivate.

For instance, are you rattled and need deeper ground (equanimity/focus)? Are you troubled by the same thought patterns and need to step outside of them (take a wider view)? Maybe you’re feeling stuck or disconnected and could do with some more compassion for yourself or others? Or perhaps, like many practiced meditators, you’re good at sitting with discomfort and need to extend into more natural good feeling/ eros?

We all need different things at different times. This asks for real responsiveness and attunement to your particular situation, right now.

Come explore what your growth edge is, for your own fruition and those around you. Refine your path ahead. And then be supported to get behind it.

Let’s build practice momentum together for the good of us all.

Cost: $80 plus dana Jess
